Thank you for coming to Wild Deadwood Reads! We’re pleased to have you attend our inaugural event. We want this to be an annual book signing, and we hope you’ll be one of the regulars!
Registration is by invitation only. If you know any authors who are interested in attending, please do not share this registration page link with them. Instead, please have them complete the Interest Form Thank you!
We’re keeping the event costs low, so each author will have a full table for the book signing.
Cost: $50 full table, including two chairs and tablecloth. Author registration includes a boxed lunch (you’ll get to custom order yours.)
The book signing is at the Holiday Inn Express/Gold Dust Casino, Saturday, June 10, 2017 from 10 AM to 2 PM. The room will open at 8 AM for setup. Free WiFi is available in the room.
After you register, you’ll be invited to an Author-Only Facebook group as well as a Facebook group where registered authors and readers are chatting. The Author-Only Facebook group has an Author To-Do List of things you’ll want to do right away, and answers to question that authors have asked. You’ll receive this list in an email, as well.
Reader Registration is open and in the Author-Only Facebook group you’ll find promotional information to share with your readers.
After readers register online, they can choose which author-sponsored events they wish to participate in. (These are the events you saw listed on the Interest Form when you filled that out.) If you’d like to sponsor any events, sign up on the Author-Only Facebook group. You’ll be able to work with one of the Wild Deadwood Reads hosts – Ginger, Linda, Shelly, or Randi to coordinate the event.
If you’d like to attend one of the extra events, head to the Extra-Event Sign-up page and purchase your ticket and/or add your name to the list for the free events.
No cover models, please.
The information for discounted hotel room registration at the signing hotel is on this website. Hotel rooms are at a premium in Deadwood in the summer, so book your room soon.
Due to the low cost of the event, there will be no refunds.
