We will be picked up at the hotel in a 50-passenger VIP motorcoach bus which will take us to and from the train. Authors are sponsoring the cost of the motorcoach bus, and there is no charge to you for the bus ride. However, you MUST go to the train website and buy your own ONE-WAY train ticket at $24 plus tax. The bus picks us up at the hotel, drops us off at the train in Hill City, the train takes us to Keystone, and the bus picks us up in Keystone and returns us to the hotel in Deadwood.

UPDATE: We’re sorry, but we have already filled every seat on the motorcoach transportation to and from the train. But you can still ride the train with us! You’ll need to drive yourself (or find a ride) to and from Hill City!

If you want to drive yourself or find a ride to Hill City and back, please purchase your train tickets and be sure to buy a round-trip train ticket (see below). The train holds 300 people, so you should be able to get tickets.
